    May 26, 2023 - May 27, 2023
    9:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Modern Armed Citizen (MAC) course is designed to provide training in Everyday Carry (EDC) concepts for American citizens regardless of their current experience or skillset. It is for those who recently bought a firearm and want to learn how to safely use and maintain it. It is for those that recognize they “don’t know what they don’t know” about firearms and EDC. Maybe it has been a while since they have been interested in personal protection but now, they want to achieve the next level? It is also for anyone that wants to embrace the EDC lifestyle but lacks experience and the fundamentals in concealed carry techniques, training, protection ethics and legal contexts. MAC also is tailored for people that are familiar with or have always been around guns but want to better understand how firearms as a tool fit into their “personal protection toolbox.” This course is for anyone unwilling to be victimized due to not understanding their vulnerability to threats. For those that are keen on avoiding dangerous encounters and recognize the value of using situational awareness to know how to identify potential hazards prior to the incident taking place.

MAC Level II:

  • The Great Debate: What caliber should you be shooting? (Muzzle energy, knock-down power, terminal ballistic hits, penetration)
  • The Response Gap and Defensive Accuracy (action versus reaction and the 21’ rule – fact or fiction?)
  • EDC Discipline Mindset 201: Cooper’s Color Code, being deliberate and intentional in Everyday Carry, unconditional winning and rejecting failure as an option)
