Most people do not consider the possibility that they could be targeted for violence. Regrettably violent crimes including robbery, rape, home invasion, home burglary, mass shootings, assault, and murder are commonplace in our society. Violence is no respecter of persons and usually catches its victims completely unaware or unprepared to act. To make matters even worse most lethal attacks take place after sunset when people are less aware of their surroundings because time and space appears much different at night. People aren’t nocturnal by nature, so they don’t see or move as well in low light. But since it is statistically more likely that you will be attacked in the dark, is that how you train to protect yourself or your family? Is that when you rehearse not only your personal protection plans but also how to use the tools available to enhance your survivability?

In this course we explain, demonstrate, then have you imitate and practice best applications to minimize exposure to threats in the hours of darkness. This course is universally beneficial because these awareness and response techniques can be implemented at your home at four o’clock in the morning when you hear something in the house that just isn’t normal or, when you’re walking to your car in that dark parking lot after the movie or late-night shopping spree that you just had to go out for.

This three-hour block of instruction is the Dynamic Response Solutions Low Light & Limited Visibility course, and it focuses on options for law abiding citizens that may have to demonstrate courage in the hours of darkness. It begins prior to sunset then culminates in armed and unarmed responses to potential threats against your person. Specifically, what are legal and practical solutions to the problems presented by criminals who use night to their advantage? What could you DO? Where could you GO? How could you RESPOND to a threat after dark?
